Members of the Columbia University - Mailman Chapter of the National Alliance of Public Health Students & Alums, (referred to interchangeably as the “NAPHSA Chapter” or the “chapter” throughout this constitution) are established for the purpose of promoting the advancement and empowerment of public health students and alumni by addressing the key barriers that mitigate entry into the public health workforce and by advocating for legislation that would eliminate public health student loan debt. A key component of this mission involves engaging policymakers, educating the public, and cultivating future public health leaders. We remain committed to engaging with the policy issues that impact the public health workforce.
