About Us

Advocates for Asian, Pacific Islander, Desi American Health (AAPIDAH) aims to raise awareness of Asian American health issues and disparities at the Mailman School of Public Health through events, study groups, and speaker series. They work to address research gaps, identify social and cultural health determinants, and overcome barriers to healthcare access. The organization fosters dialogue and collaboration between the school and Asian American communities, providing culturally and linguistically appropriate health screenings and educational outreach to local communities.
