The drug overdose epidemic has become a national crisis, with over a million Americans dying from overdoses since 1999, and opioids contributing to over 70% of these deaths. End Overdose sees a future where every individual impacted by drug use finds support, resources, and a pathway to recovery.

HealthBridge: Clinical Medicine & Public Health Nexus” serves to seamlessly bridge the gap between clinical practice and public health. We aim to enhance healthcare delivery, promote health equity, and improve community wellness through education, collaboration, and innovation. By bridging these fields, we strive to create a holistic approach to health and well-being for all.
Objectives: HealthBridge’s events and activities promote its mission via the following five objectives:
(1) Bring speakers from both clinical medicine and public health to our campus that will be role-models and will serve as mentors.
(2) Promote co-curricular and extra-curricular activities that serve to establish means of communication between MSPH students, faculty, administrators, and alumni.
(3) Host regular General Body meetings to provide open forums for dialogue among students, faculty, and the administration.
(4) Advocate for the needs and concerns expressed by HealthBridge membership.
(5) Actively collaborate with other groups within and outside of Columbia University to achieve our mission.
(6) Coordinate APEx opportunities that align with HealthBridge’s mission.
